Girls on Myspace?

Ok girls. Is there any effective way for a guy to start talking to you on myspace? There's a cute girl on there and I don't want to screw it up like I usually do.

No. It's creepy if you don't know the girl in reality. I don't like when random strangers start messaging me...I don't think most girls do.

Well it is in fact creepy, but just say "hi, you look really familiar. do you go/work to/in (whatever school/job)?"

I don't really like it when random people send me messages, especially when i go to look at their page and all their top friends are girls in bikini's, i'd try to start by asking a question about where they are from and try to get her talking, like ask her does she know Bob Pearson and she will answer you and say no, unless of course she does know one, in which case you make it out to be a different Bob Pearson.

When i see a message from someone that says your page looks great and you are really HOT! Lets chat, i press DELETE immediately.

Well first things first, have the confidence to not think that you'll definitely screw things up co that's not exactly the right mindset is it? I'm a guy so I'm no girl expert but start with something light and simple like:

'Just dropping to say Hi. Haven't seen you in ages? How have you been?'

Perhaps drop her a picture comment too cos girls like to know that you've put an effort into it and not just a crummy old greeting. Good luck!

if you don't know the girl and going to like idiotic things like "hey girl you're so sweet" or so don't even bother. In my inbox it went to the trash without even been read. But if you have something personal and clever to say about his interests ans your profile also prooves that you are into that interest, then maybe....But it could be better to go one of her groups and talk about something that can interest her and make her reply. Think through it or you'll loose it.

on myspace you have a terrific advantage because all her interests are spelled out for you right there on the page.. usually. make an insightful comment about a book or a movie (or activity) that she listed, and it will definately spark her interest. DO NOT write anything even remotely flirty in the first message.. that puts you in the box with all the other drooling guys. write something intelligent and meaningful, that shows you really read her page.. thats about the best you can do over the internet!

(if she responds, wait about a full day or so to write back. no need to play games, but it helps not to look too desperate :)
